Luxury hotels of Romney’s super PAC

Pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future has raised more than $36.8 million since its launch last year. That’s more than any other super PAC has collected so far this election cycle. And to bring in all this money, the group has enticed potential donors through fundraising events at some pretty luxurious spots.

Inspired by Think Progress’ use of Pinterest to display “Luxury Hotels of the Romney Campaign,” iWatch News’ Michael Beckel identied Restore Our Future’s swank fundraising locations and the amount each was paid by the super PAC, based on the group’s 2011 year-end and Feb. monthly campaign finance filings:

• New York’s Waldorf Astoria: $5,392
• The Beverly Hills Hotel: $5,346 
• Montage Beverly Hills: $3,766 
• The University Club of New York: $3,212 
• Fairmont Hotel: $2,112 
• Newport Beach’s Island Hotel: $1,411
